The Hornsea 2 offshore windfarm project is a prestigious development for Ørsted which when fully operational in 2022 will provide 1.4GW of green energy to 1.3 million homes. VolkerInfra are the Principal Contractor installing the export cables over 38km from the North Sea landfall to the Killingholme substation. As part of the full delivery package, the amount of earthmoving equipment and associated support plant amounts were vast in numbers. Sutro Services Ltd provided invaluable support for the maintenance and repair providing smooth running of VolkerInfra Ltd owned equipment, without which could have caused delays and introduced unnecessary costs.
